Early Medieval pottery plate roundel
A roundel from the bottom of a flat plate. Of Mediterranean type; stamped with an incomplete circular design which includes Chi-Rho and the surviving omega of alpha and omega. A second stamp is partially preserved at one edge, apparently the base of a palmette.
