Tray, tin-plate, oval shape with shallow out-curving sides: covered all over with a black japan, the centre of the well painted with a group of flowers in pinks, greens, yellow and blue including a rose and lilies, around the rim a wide formal border in gilt transfer with sprays of flowers and leaves between four large star-shaped motifs.
