Wedding dress bodice
Wedding dress of ivory satin. Made by Phillips & Evans, Merthyr Tydifil. Worn by Jennet Dunn (nee Morgan) on her wedding at St Davids, Groesfaen, 1879. Consisting of separate skirt and bodice. Bodice is backfastened with 22 buttons. Stand up collar trimmed with white net, cream lace and artificial flowers. Lace 'jabot' style down centre front. Three-quarter length sleeves, also decorated with lace amd flowers. Silk cord trimming around bodice hem
