Inkstand, soft-paste porcelain, the inkstand with a white translucency, and the liner with a pale green translucency; cockle shaped with a flat unglazed base, and sunken flat top and inkwell containing a tapering liner; two periwinkle pen holders; painted with a frieze of wild flowers, including wild strawberries, and primroses; gilt marbling to exterior of cockle, gilt pen holders, and gilt band to liner rim.
