Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy translucency; standing on a foot rim curving into rounded sides with a rounded everted lip; lobed edge with six large and six small lobes, and moulded with c-scrolls, ribbon-tied flowers and foliage, and a grooved cavetto; painted in polychrome enamels in the centre with an overflowing basket of flowers, including three pink roses; plain gilt band to lip.
