Mug with earthenware body and pearlware glaze, cylindrical in shape, two square profile handles with a simple, slight scroll at lower part, inset base; the body is transfer-printed in black with two different views of Bristol, the handles embellished with a strip of quatrefoil motifs composed of ovals with a scalloped border, the exterior rim with a simple twisted pattern border with alternating flowers and knotwork motifs evenly spaced around the circumference, between which are garlands.
