19th century (1860s). Normal twill weave. Overall pattern of single thread stripes ( green, blue, yellow yarns, brown ground) borders at either side of closer stripes. Pattern formed with warp of brown threads interspersed with different coloured threads, woven with all brown warp threads. Ends blanket stitched and fringed, selvage at sides. Central seam.
