“The original objective was to bring people together who were travelling away, provide information, act as an informal fan embassy, but also to help make the women’s game more visible. We were also conscious about trying to make it a comfortable and safe space for those who might feel alienated on the terraces at men’s matches, hence the trans dragon flag” (Penny Miles, Wal Goch y Menywod / Wales Women’s Red Wal, 2022).
