Cup of hard-fired coarse red earthenware, standing on a tapering foot rim, cylindrical body, slightly waisted, ending in uneven, chipped lip rim; simple loop handle; unglazed base, exterior sides and interior with a rich chestnut brown manganese glaze with a lustrous quality, streaked and mottled with darker brown.
