Plate, soft-paste porcelain with greenish transulency, tapering foot ring, cushion-moulded side, osier-moulded rim with lobed edge (twelve equal lobes); the well painted with an owl and two other birds on a branch, a fourth smaller bird in flight, a gold line to the edge of the rim, dentillated gilded line around edge of well.
