Spill-vase, bone china with a cream translucency and crackled glaze; standing on a rounded foot rim, cylindrical body with a wide curved lip, applied with modelled flowers and leaves; two ring handles; painted on each side with a bird perched on a branch; gilt border of scrolled shapes enclosing dotted and trellis patterns, above the foot and below the lip, gilt band inside the lip, gilt handles, and gilt centres to modelled flowers.
