Medieval copper alloy purse bar
Part of collection of objects of Welsh provenance from the Exeter Museum collections.
Probable, incomplete purse bar. Plain bar with no central block. Circular in cross-section. At centre, on the upper surface is a small flange pierced with small hole. Incomplete suspension hoop at terminal of one arm, the other is broken before the terminal but with a series of striations along the top surface.
