St. Mary's College at St.David's, Dyfed. Common Seal of the Master and Fellows. Within a gothic-type canopy, the Blessed Virgin supporting her Child. Affixed to the pillars, two shields, dext. (indistinct, but perhaps the arms of John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster, founder); sinon a fess between six crosses crosslet, three leopards' faces, Adam Houghton, bishop of St. David's. In base, within a niche, the master at prayer. (The Master in 1529 was John Lunteley) As used in 1529, but engraved perhaps about 1382.
