Pot-lid
Pot-lid, earthenware, circular shape with cylindrical flange and convex top; the upperside of the lid decorated with an underglaze polychrome transfer-print of 'Country Quarters', showing a stables setting with a horse, two goats and a cat, around the bottom of the scene is the inscription "COUNTRY QUARTERS", the scene enclosed by a circular yellow band. The glaze slightly crazed, chips and wear to the flange.
