Medieval pottery jug
Slightly everted simple rim sherd from a jug in a coarse fabric. The jug has thick walls and has very faint traces of worn glaze on the exterior. Rim profile suggests it is from either a baluster or pear-shaped jug. At the base of the sherd there is a faint trace of incised decoration in the form of diagonal slashes.
