Milk jug, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a rounded foot rim, pouch-shaped, with shoulder ridge; curved beak spout with acanthus leaf moulding below; square shouldered loop handle with thumb spur and lower outer spur; painted with set pattern 223, - an Imari style pattern, with stylised pink and red flowers on trailing underglaze blue, gilt and green foliage around the body; below the lip, an underglaze blue, gilt and red arabesque shaped border, with pendent stylised iron red and pink flowers; gilt shoulder ridge ( worn ), gilt to spout moulding, and gilt detail to the handle ( worn ).
