Cup, tea and saucer
Cup and saucer, hybrid paste porcelain with a pale buff translucency; cup with rounded sides and loop handle; saucer set on a straight sided foot rim curving into deep rounded spreading sides; both transfer printed with the 'Kingfisher' pattern and filled in with enamels - a blue and pink plumaged kingfisher perched on a tree of stylised peonies in pink and blue, with dark olive foliage; gilt lip to cup and saucer, gilt edge and foliate motif to the handle.
