Plate, buff earthenware, covered with a blue-tinged tin-glaze, standing on a recessed base, spreading, cushion-moulded sides, forming a large, steep-sided central well and steeply sloping wide rim; decorated in underglaze blue, in the centre, with an arrangement of Imari-style flowers and a fence of three trellis-work panels all within two concentric bands and an outer scalloped band; the rim divided into fourteen panels, each panel containing an anthemion-style device and two volute scrolls.
