Cup, tea and saucer
Tea cup, hard-paste porcelain, inset base and flaring sides, square shouldered handle with ropework moulding; the exterior sides of the cup covered with a dull blue ground and decorated with a gilt caillouté pattern, around the centre of the sides foliate swags in raised gilding, a gilt dot to the interior bottom of the bowl, the handle covered in gilt. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, inset base and flaring sides; the sides of the well covered with a dark underglaze blue ground and decorated with a gilt caillouté pattern, to the centre of the well a circular reserve finely painted with a group of fruit, around the exterior foot-rim a band of gilt dashes.
