Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dish, round, soft-paste porcelain with a buff translucency; standing on a cylindrical foot rim curving into rounded spreading sides and flared lip; eight lobed lip, and cruciform moulding; painted with a border of four groups of convolvuli and leaves, in pale blue, pink, yellow, and green enamels, and a small convolvuli spray in the centre; gilt leaf and dot border inside the lip.
