Tureen with cover
Tureen, very pale cream-coloured earthenware with a slight green tinge to the glaze, oval four-lobed form with straight sides, to either end of the body twin solid pierced shell-moulded handles, domed cover with to the top a finial modelled in the form of a kneeling child with a basket of flowers, the sides of the tureen and the cover a quatrefoil pattern within hexagonal panels; decorated with green bands and green feather-edging around the foot-rim, lip-rim and handles of the tureen, and the rim and top of the cover.
