Cup, tea and saucer
Tea cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, cup standing on a foot rim, rounded sides, everted lip, floriate C-scroll handle; painted in polychrome enamels with an exotic bird in blue, brown, yellow, puce and red perched on a branch issuing from stones and bearing blue fruit, another branch with red flowers to right, gilt line at lip, gilding to handle, interior painted with `ermine tail' in green. The saucer, also with a shallow footring, is painted with a long-tailed bird in yellow, red and puce perched on a Y shaped branch issuing from a rock, amid polychrome flowers and foliage.
