Slop bowl
Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Slop-bowl, soft-paste porcelain, clear white translucency,slightly distorted and with pronounced throwing lines, lustrous glaze with grit specks to the interior; standing on a shallow foot ring, sides swelling to the lip, decorated with a gilt line to the foot, and painted with four bouquets of garden flowers, gilt line at the lip, deckelled on the interior, with band of gilt husks below, single pink rose painted at the bottom of the bowl.
