Dish, vegetable, and cover
Vegetable dish, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into rounded sides with a flared everted lip, with a ridge to hold the cover; high flat-topped domed cover with acanthus leaf moulding encircling a brass finial (replacement); transfer printed with an underglaze blue trellis pattern border, with an inner transfer printed Vandyke outlined border filled in by hand; the cover and interior of the dish, painted with scattered sprigs and one flower spray in polychrome enamels, including pink roses and strawberries; acanthus leaf moulding edged with underglaze blue.
