S.S. OCEAN VANGUARD (7174 GT). Built 1941 by Todd of California, Richmond, U.S.A. for Ministry of War. Managed by W.H. Seager, Cardiff. It was torpedoed and sunk in September 1942 about 45 miles east of Galera Point, Trinidad. Ten crew members and one gunner were lost.
