Knight, Jessie (Jessie Knight was the first prominent female tattooist in the UK. She took over her father's tattoo shop in Barry aged 18 in 1927 and went on to prominence whilst working in Chatham, Portsmouth and Aldershot. She returned to Barry in 1968, and continued to work there as a tattoo artist into the 1980s.)
Tattoo flash on card. Includes depictions of a heart with the text, ‘Erin’, a skull with the text, ‘Death before dishonour’, a female in red and green swimming costume/Lingerie and hearts and clovers with the text ‘The Irish in Us’.
The images on the reverse include a harp and text reading, ‘Erin Gobraugh’, and images of females with the text ‘Erin’, and hearts and clovers.
