Woven damask table napkin. Patten depicts George II on horse-back as a central figure with the royal coat-of-arms below; flanking the royal figure on both sides of th cloth are the cathedrals of York, Edinburgh and Gloucester; London is legible on the extreme centre top flanked with the date 17--; the extreme centre base ireads GEORGIUS II D.G. MAG. BRIT. ET HIBERN REX.; may have been adapted from earlier pattern commemorating George I.
