Milk jug
Milk jug, pale cream-coloured earthenware with a greenish tinge to the glaze, standing on a rounded spreading waisted foot-rim with a narrow beaded band around it, globular body sloping inwards at the shoulder before flaring out to the lip-rim, wide shallow spout, reeded double intertwined handle with moulded leaves at the terminals; painted in puce with around the exteiror body two large sprays and several smaller scattered sprigs of stylized flowers, the terminals of the handle picked out in puce and green.
