Tureen with cover
Tureen, earthenware, the bottom part of the tureen in the form of an oval basket with basketwork moulding around the sides and a scalloped edge to the rim outlined in green and black, the upper part (cover) of the tureen modelled in the form of a seated hen with a chick nestling under each wing, the hen with red comb, black head feathers, brown neck, yellow breast and back, and brown wings and tail, a green rim below the hen.
