Plate, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into slightly cushion moulded and curved spreading sides, and lobed lip with six large and six small lobes; painted in enamels in the centre with two blue, yellow and orange birds perched in a tree, in a landscape vignette; six butterflies and insects around the edge and two inside the cavetto; plain gilt band to lip.
