Roman copper alloy ox head escutcheon
Mount in the form of an oxhead, two horns projecting frontally from the object at the point of its maximum width. The face tapers into a long nose terminating in the lower loop. The large loop above the oxhead probably held one end of a handle. The mount is from a bucket or other vessel.
