Cream tureen, cover and stand, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, greenish translucency, and slight grey-green tinge to the glaze. Tureen on a stepped pedestal foot, the cruciform bowl crisply moulded with the 'Nantgarw' C-scrolls, ribbon-tied sprays and florets, two rectangular, grooved and upturned loop handles, shallow shoulders containing low domed cover, similar moulded, and with a pine cone finial. The stand circular, slightly warped, with the 'Swansea' C-scroll, ribbon-tied spray and floret moulding, the rim with six large and six small lobes, and the centre recessed. The tureen simply painted in polychrome enamels with a spray of wild strawberries and five flower sprays within the raised mouldings on the sides, and with four pink roses on the shoulders; two further flower sprays within the mouldings on the cover. The stand is painted with six flower sprays within the rim mouldings and with a pink rose in the centre.
