Baxter, Thomas (junior) (1782 - 1821)
Slop-bowl, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; standing on a straight, tapered foot rim, curved sides flaring at lip; painted in monochrome purple enamel, on one side, with a cupid stringing his bow, on the other a cupid with his arrows; gilt continuous scroll pattern inside lip; gilt bands to foot rim, and lip.
