Mug, greyish white earthenware, pearl glaze, tinged with blue, wheel-thrown, cylindrical body on a spreading pedestal foot, band of turning below the lip, grooved loop handle with foliate terminals; decorated with two underglaze black-brown lines above the the foot and at the lip, the turned area underglaze blue, broad band of coffee-coloured slip with four spreading areas of mocha ornament in black, sprigged at the front with a relief-moulded crown with IMPERIAL on a ribbon below.
