Jug, earthenware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, angular scrolled handle; covered all over with a yellow glaze, this then transfer-printed in black with to either side of the exterior body rural scenes showing figures in parkland settings featuring country houses, sheep, lakes and trees, the scenes enclosed by silver lustre borders, to the front of the exterior body a star-shaped motif in silver lustre, silver lustre bands around the lower body, exterior neck and interior and exterior lip-rim and spout, the spout and handle edged in silver lustre, the silver lustre to the handle very worn. The spout and lip-rim chipped.
