Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain, with a creamy translucency; standing on a tapered foot rim, curving into slightly curved spreading sides; waved lip with six large and six small lobes; painted with a flower bouquet in the centre; a wide elaborate gilt border of four pairs of scrolling leaves formed as cornucopiae, issuing flowers, between small polychrome flower sprays; gilt scalloped lip.
