Plate, earthenware, circular shape with rounded foot-rim, cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim, the rim moulded with raised floral sprigs beneath c-scrolls, a slightly shaped edge to the outer rim; transfer-printed in brown with to the centre of the well a rural scene showing the figure of a boy wearing a plumed hat and carrying a whip driving a flock of turkeys before him in a landscape with a building, trees and hills, the moulded floral sprigs to the rim picked out in red, blue and green. The foot-rim cracked.
