Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dessert plate, round, good clear translucency and lustrous glaze with pin holes and minor flaws; standing on a shallow foot rim, and moulded with six large and six small lobes, standard 'Nantgarw' moulding of C-scrolls, ribbon-tied foliage wreaths and florets; the centre painted in polychrome with a large bouquet of pink roses, convolvulus and other garden flowers, the relief mouldings on the rim entirely gilt, and containing six smallve small sprays of garden flowers.
