Pot-lid
Pot-lid, earthenware, circular shape with cylindrical flange and convex top; the upperside of the lid decorated with an underglaze polychrome transfer-print of 'Hamlet and His Father's Ghost' (although this title is not recorded on the lid), showing battlements on which stands a male figures backing away from a ghostly figure in armour, the print enclosed by a narrow yellow band . The glaze crazed, the flange slightly chipped.
