Photograph (print)
Photograph showing Siân James (on right), with Bethan Battenbough (one of the younger members of the support group whose brother worked in Abernant Colliery). They are being interviewed by BBC Wales. Taken at Porthcawl in March 1985 when lobbying the NUM South Wales Area about voting to return to work without a deal to re-instate sacked miners. The scarf around Siân's neck was bright yellow with red printing and supported Arthur Scargill.
