Seal impression: Scottish ecclesiastical
A representation of the cathedral, in front of which three trefoiled niches; in centre. St Magnus bearded, holding the sword of martyrdom. In each side niche; a monk or canon kneels in supplication; ab0ove each head a small star. At the end of the legend a cluster of eight small crosses arranged in cross.
