Tureen, cream with cover
Cream tureen and cover, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; mounted on a round narrow plinth, with rosette and anthemion moulding around the edge, set on three paw feet; a narrow pedestal base, and octagonal body with eight ribs; upturned double spindle handles with rosette discs, raised cover with an ogee profile and a pine cone finial; the botanical plants named above after engravings taken from Curtis's Botanical Magazine, and transfer printed and infilled enamel on each side, and on the cover; gilt bands to plinth, foot rim, shoulder, lip, and handles.
