Early Medieval pottery bowl
A deep beaded rim from an open bowl. The sherd is too small to establish the angle or diameter with any certainty. Soft orange-pink fabric, with a slightly less orange slip. The fabric agrees with the description of Tintagel Ai, but the rim form itself may be compared with Tintagel fig. 14, no. 7 which is in Aii ware. There is a good Late Roman B parallel in Antioch 878a. Fulford form 58 fabric A1 - c. 475-500 to c. 575
