Figure of St. Peter, pearlware, standing on a square base raised on four feet and moulded with around the sides raised floral swags, to the front of the base a raised oval pad, impressed with the inscription "ST. PETER", the figure of St. Peter kneeling on a raised round mound in front of a tree with short branches on which rests to one side of the figure a large book and to the other side a cock, behind the figre a raised spray of flowers and foliage, the figure clad in a long flowing robe, a short cloak and sandals, the figure holding a staff in one hand and a bunch of keys in the other, a further key lies at his feet; the figure painted in naturalistic enamels with sponge-painted maroon robe and yellow cloak, the tree painted in brown with green leaves and red, blue and orange flowers, the book painted in red and yellow, the cock painted in black and red, the mound on which the figure kneels painted in green, the base sponge-painted in black with polychrome floral swags, the inscription painted in black. Several of the branches of the tree broken off.
