Cup, coffee and saucer
Coffee cup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain; cup standing on a straight sided foot rim, rounded sides with slightly flared lip, and an ear-shaped loop handle; saucer standing on a straight sided foot rim, with rounded spreading sides; transfer printed and filled in enamels with the 'Kingfisher' pattern, - a blue and pink kingfisher perched on a tree of stylised pink and blue peonies, the cup with sepia foliage, the saucer with olive foliage; gilt cup and saucer lip, and gilt foliate detail to handle.
