Cup, hard-paste porcelain, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, cylindrical sides, plain loop handle; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the exterior upper body of the cup a wide border between gilt bands of two interlacing foliate bands in puce enclosing alternating roses and pansies, around the lower exterior body scattered leaf sprigs in gilt, a gilt line around the foot-rim, gilt stripes to the handle. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, circular shape with inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim and flaring sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the sides of the well the same border as on the cup, the gilt bands slightly worn, scattered leaf sprigs in gilt to the centre of the well.
