Jug
Jug, pearlware,inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, scrolled foliate-moulded handle with raised thumb-spur; transfer-printed in blue with around the exterior body of the jug a landscape with the figure of a shepherd, a goat, a bridge, a building and ruined columns, around the exterior and interior neck a border of floral and foliate sprays alternating with the figure of a shepherd and goat, a border to the handle of a zig-zag line and leaf motifs, the transfer-printed areas protected by a resist and the exterior of the jug and the interior neck and spout covered with silver lustre, a blue edge to the lip-rim and spout. The spout broken and repaired.
