Medieval lead ampulla
The ampulla is fragmentary, represented by the damaged neck only (with a surviving length of 30.5mm and a weight of 10.8g containing some sediment). The neck is open near the mouth and closes near the body. The mouth is slightly expanded (with a surviving width of 21.5mm). The surviving side is straight (21.3mm surviving width and 10.8mm thick). The upper stub from the broken loop is evident. There is the suggestion of a central rib on the more complete face.
