Sampler
LINEN, unbleached, embroidered with coloured cottons in cross stitch. Divided horizontally into three compartments; in the first, in two rows preceded by a cross, are letters of the alphabet and numerals 2-7; in the second, in three rows preceded by a cross, are letters of the alphabet and numerals to 10; in the third is a monstrance between two candlesticks, each having three lighted candles; to either side are shrubs and flowering plants in pots, birds, and the name "Rosalie Standaert", all symmetrically arranged. There is a border of varied geometric design.
