Plate, hard-paste porcelain, circular, footring; the edge is painted brown, the rim is painted with a wide gold scroll border, the central reserve is banded with gold leaves outlined in black alternating with gold stylised flowering nut shapes outlined in red, the centre is painted with a panel framed by a puce and red stylised leaf border and a brown and gold simplified rococo border, the panel is painted with buildings on the banks of an estuary and with a number of figures looking down the mouth of the estuary toward boats in the distance.
